Threshold
Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) will fund the surgical treatment of Dupuytren’s Contracture on a restricted basis for patients who meet the following criteria:
Criteria for funding
- Metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint contracture of 30 degrees or more, in one or more fingers (inability to place hand flat on table)
OR
- ANY degree of PIP or DIP joint contracture(s)
Routine referral is not indicated for painful nodules as they normally settle as the disease progresses.

CASES FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION
On a case to case basis, patients might be eligible for intervention, in consideration of their exceptionality. The requesting clinician must provide information to support the case for being considered an exception, by submitting an individual funding request.
